2. MISSION AND VALUES
2. MISSION AND VALUES
ABBA's mission is to help: protect, develop, strengthen and multiply Belarusian business.
The Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA) firmly adheres to a principled position regarding cooperation with the regimes of Belarus and Russia. Our key principles and values:
• We publicly support the sanctions policy against the Lukashenko regime, which is an integral part of the struggle for democratic values.
• ABBA fundamentally opposes cooperation with companies that continue to do business in the aggressor country during wartime.
• We consider support for businesses cooperating with the regime unacceptable, as this contradicts the policies of democratic countries and undermines the efforts of the Belarusian democratic community.
• During the period of increased repression against citizens and business representatives in Belarus, as well as during the aggressive war, any cooperation with regime structures is regarded by us as a betrayal of the interests of democratic Belarus.
• We commit to protecting the reputation of honest Belarusian business and continue to uphold the principles of transparency and democratic values in the international business environment.
ABBA remains dedicated to its mission of supporting independent Belarusian business and will continue to work towards developing a professional community based on democratic values and ethical business principles.
Details can be read in the detailed official position of ABBA.

4. HISTORY
4. HISTORY
ABBA was officially established in September 2021 in Warsaw, Poland. Initially, ABBA was registered in the organizational and legal form of a foundation in order to promptly respond to the challenges faced by Belarusian business and to support companies that moved abroad. In May 2022, we expanded the functions of our organization by registering it in the form of an association, the members of which, according to Polish law, can only be legal entities. Today, ABBA is the only international nationally oriented association of businesspeople with Belarusian roots in the world. ABBA represents the collective voice of honest and ethical Belarusian business abroad.
Proud to be Belarusian business
Proud to be Belarusian business
ABBA supports and develops Belarusian business in the face of new challenges and obstacles. The association helps overcome administrative and legal barriers to ensure stable conditions for work and growth. We actively protect the interests of our friends in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the USA by identifying and solving problems in these countries. For many honest Belarusian businesspeople, ABBA's support becomes crucial for the existence of their companies in the EU.
