During the meeting on October 11th with the Lithuanian Migration Department, ABBA, together with its partners—the Lithuanian Confederation of Employers and representatives of Belarusian businesses abroad—discussed key issues facing Belarusian entrepreneurs in the region:

▪️ Relocation to Lithuania: new migration quota rules starting in 2025.
▪️ Cancellation of residence permits: the possibility of introducing pre-court appeal procedures.
▪️ National security in Lithuania: how to avoid problems and understand the rules.

Following the meeting with the Migration Department, ABBA's position on key issues concerning the Belarusian business community remains unchanged:

▫️ Businesses with Belarusian roots make a significant contribution to Lithuania's economy, and their importance should not be underestimated.
▫️ Each case of issuing or canceling a residence permit should be considered individually, with the possibility of pre-court appeal to the Migration Department to ensure a fair and transparent process.
▫️ Membership in ABBA should serve as additional proof of business transparency and reliability for Lithuanian authorities.
